Foundations of Leadership program to be offered in Chicago by Bradley
Peoria, IL (October 26, 2009) A three-day program that addresses the fundamentals of leadership for managers will be offered by the Bradley University Executive Development Center on December 2, 3 and 4 at the Summit Executive Centre, located at 205 N. Michigan Ave. in Chicago.
The interactive program, called Foundations of Leadership, establishes a foundation of understanding that new managers can use to assess challenges and improve leadership skills. Participants will learn the essentials of effective leadership, focusing on personal awareness and growth, working relationships, influence skills and conflict resolution.
Participants will receive the benefits of a leadership assessment process augmented with behavioral observation and a private feedback session with a certified coach. In addition, videotaped problem-solving exercises will provide participants a realistic but safe way to learn how to handle potentially volatile situations in the workplace.
