Crime Alerts/Timely Warnings

A Crime Alert/Timely Warning is used to provide information to the Bradley University community of recent criminal activities in the surrounding area of Bradley University. It is a means to heighten safety awareness and provide notice to students, faculty and staff about crimes that represent a serious threat to the campus. The BUPD will make the decision to issue a warning based on the nature of the crime, continuing danger to the campus, and risk of compromising law enforcement efforts. Depending on circumstances and urgency, information also may be disseminated through the foreWarn emergency notification system.

For your own safety and the security of everyone in the Bradley University community, you are urged to familiarize yourself with the information contained in these notices. It is not unusual for information contained in these alerts pertaining to specific crimes or incidents to also apply to other situations, risks or potential offenses.
